Who can participate in the workshop?
All ICN member authorities will select their representatives to attend the ICN Unilateral Conduct Workshop. Due to capacity reasons the number of attendees is limited. However, it is also possible to join the Workshop virtually. The livestream of the plenary sessions can be viewed on each day of the event via the ICN Workshop website without prior registration. A recording of the plenary sessions will also be released after the event. The break-out sessions will not be livestreamed and no recording will be released after the event.
How do I register for the workshop?
Participation in the 2025 ICN Unilateral Conduct Workshop will only be possible by invitation. To register for the event, please, complete the online registration form on the workshop website.
After validating the data provided, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration.
How do I know if my registration has been confirmed?
Your participation in the Workshop will be confirmed by an email which will be sent after your registration in the system.
I have already registered but I cannot attend. Can I cancel or transfer my registration?
Please, in case you are not able to attend the Workshop, you should inform the organisation as soon as possible (icn.ucw2025@cade.gov.br ).
The registration cannot be transferred without the organisation’s authorization.
Will the sessions be recorded?
Only the plenary sessions will be recorded.
Will interpreting services be provided during the workshop?
No interpreting services will be available. The workshop will be held in English. Due to limited capacities, it is not possible to bring your personal interpreter.
Who can participate in the social events?
Only registered workshop participants can participate in the social events.
What can I do if I am prevented from participating at short notice?
In this case please inform the workshop team immediately. This will help us to allocate the limited number of places as efficiently as possible. Please also let us know if you and/or the person accompanying you are prevented from attending the social events at short notice.
What is the dress code for the Workshop?
You are kindly requested to wear business casual attire.
Will transportation from the airport to the hotel be provided?
No, participants must make their own arrangements to get to their hotels.
What are the visa requirements for my stay in Brazil?
Please check the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty) as early as possible for more information on the visa requirements applicable in your case.
Certain nationalities require a valid visa currently in force. To apply for a visa, foreigners must submit the visa application form and specific documents for the type of visa requested. Visas are issued by the embassies or consulates of Brazil in the country of origin. If you need more information, please contact the Consular Representations of Brazil in your country.
Are there any vaccine restrictions?
No, there are not any restrictions in force nor mandatory proof of vaccination to enter the country. However, the Ministry of Health recommends that international tourists update their vaccination status prior to arrival in Brazil, in accordance with the guidelines of the vaccination calendar in the country of origin or residence, in particular, yellow fever vaccines.
